Description
The PRO-ZT6 is a precision-built 2-way speaker designed for listeners who value clarity, efficiency, and dependable performance. With a 6.5-inch midrange driver and an integrated tweeter, it delivers a wide 65Hz to 22kHz frequency response that supports detailed low-mid output and crisp high-frequency reproduction. The result is a balanced, full-range sound profile suited to automotive audio upgrades, custom sound systems, and other demanding listening environments.
At the heart of the PRO-ZT6 is a 1.5-inch Kapton voice coil wound with Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire, chosen for its durability, heat resistance, and responsive performance. This design helps the speaker maintain consistency during extended use and high-power playback. The tweeter also uses a Kapton voice coil, paired with an aluminum alloy diaphragm and a neodymium magnet, allowing it to produce clean, accurate highs with minimal distortion.
Built on a strong steel basket, the PRO-ZT6 is engineered to reduce unwanted resonance and support long-term reliability. Its 4-ohm impedance, 225-watt RMS power handling, and 450-watt maximum power capacity make it a capable choice for systems that demand both control and output. With a 96dB sensitivity rating, it can produce impressive volume efficiently, even with modest amplifier power.
Practical installation is another advantage. The PRO-ZT6 features an overall diameter of 7 inches, a front mount cutout of 5.67 inches, and a mounting depth of 3.03 inches, making it compatible with many standard applications. A recommended high-pass crossover at 120Hz helps integrate it effectively with subwoofers for a more complete sound setup.
For those seeking a durable, high-performance midrange and tweeter solution, the PRO-ZT6 offers a well-engineered combination of clarity, power handling, and versatile installation.
