Description
The Runyan Backless Counter Stool brings a modern interpretation to a classic silhouette, combining clean lines, a narrow profile, and practical comfort for everyday use. Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, and dining spaces, this swivel counter stool offers a balanced mix of style and function that works well in both contemporary and transitional interiors.
Built with a kiln-dried hardwood frame, the stool is made for strength and long-term stability. Mortise-and-tenon joinery adds to the durability of the construction, while the refined wood grain gives each piece a natural character. Because wood is a natural material, slight variations in tone, grain, and finish are expected and help make each stool feel distinct. These subtle differences may also appear differently depending on lighting and surrounding décor.
The seat is upholstered in premium vegan leather, creating a smooth, polished look with a soft feel. Paired with high-density foam cushioning, the padded swivel seat is designed to provide comfort during meals, conversation, or casual work at the counter. The backless design keeps the profile visually light and easy to tuck beneath a counter when not in use, making it a smart choice for smaller spaces or open layouts.
One of the most practical features of this kitchen counter stool is its 180-degree memory return swivel. The mechanism allows the seat to rotate smoothly, then return to its original position, making it easier to turn toward guests, family, or the room without adjusting the base. This detail supports comfortable movement while helping the stool maintain a tidy, orderly appearance.
At 26 inches high, this counter-height stool is suited for standard kitchen counters and island seating. For the most comfortable fit, it is generally recommended to allow about 10 to 12 inches between the top of the seat cushion and the underside of the counter. Measuring your space before ordering can help ensure the right proportions for your room and seating arrangement.
Assembly is straightforward, with hardware, tools, and instructions included to simplify the setup process. Once in place, the stool offers a refined yet relaxed presence that can complement a range of finishes and materials. Whether used alone or paired with matching pieces, the Runyan backless swivel stool adds warmth, texture, and a welcoming feel to the home.
