Merax Queen Upholstered Platform Bed with Drawers and Twin XL Trundle

Description

This upholstered queen platform bed combines practical storage with a clean, inviting design that fits well in a wide range of interiors. Upholstered in soft velvet with foam-filled polyester, the headboard features subtle tufted detailing that adds texture without overwhelming the room. The beige-gray color palette offers a neutral look that pairs easily with modern, transitional, or minimalist decor.

Built from plywood and MDF, the bed frame is designed for dependable support and everyday use. The solid construction provides stability and supports up to 600 lbs, while the included slats eliminate the need for a box spring. This makes the platform bed a straightforward setup for those who prefer a lower-profile sleep surface with reliable mattress support. A recommended mattress thickness of 8 inches for the upper bed helps maintain proper fit and comfort.

One of the most practical features of this upholstered platform bed is its storage-friendly design. Two drawers provide space for organizing items such as clothes, bedding, toys, or games, helping keep the bedroom tidy and efficient. The twin XL trundle adds an extra sleeping area that can be pulled in and out as needed, making it especially useful for sleepovers or accommodating guests without requiring a separate bed. This combination of storage and sleeping flexibility is ideal for shared rooms, smaller spaces, or households that value multifunctional furniture.

The queen size dimensions measure 84.6 L x 64.7 W x 45.8 H, creating a balanced footprint that offers both comfort and practicality. Partial assembly is required, and the bed comes with clear instructions and necessary tools to help simplify setup. The overall design emphasizes both style and function, with the upholstered headboard offering a comfortable backrest for reading or relaxing in bed.

With no box spring required and a sturdy velvet-upholstered frame, this queen platform bed delivers a thoughtful blend of comfort, storage, and everyday usefulness. It is a well-rounded option for anyone looking to maximize space while maintaining a polished bedroom appearance.
