Description
The GEN-X4.6 coaxial speaker is a well-balanced 4×6-inch car audio upgrade designed to deliver clear, detailed sound in a compact form. Built with a two-way design, it combines a responsive midrange cone with a 29mm Mylar dome tweeter to produce a smooth blend of warmth, clarity, and crisp high frequencies. With a frequency response of 105Hz to 20kHz, this coaxial speaker reproduces vocals, instruments, and treble detail with impressive precision for everyday listening and more demanding audio playback.
Durability is a key strength of the GEN-X4.6. Its black paper cone offers natural sound characteristics, while the rubber edge surround supports controlled cone movement for improved accuracy and long-term reliability. Inside, the 1-inch voice coil uses ASV wire to help manage heat efficiently, contributing to stable performance over extended use. The 70x32x12mm magnet further supports consistent output and tight speaker control, helping the system maintain clarity even at higher volumes.
With a sensitivity rating of 83 dB/W/m and 4-ohm impedance, the GEN-X4.6 is compatible with most automotive audio systems and works well as an OEM speaker replacement or an entry-level audio upgrade. Its 45-watt RMS power handling and 135-watt peak power rating provide dependable performance for a wide range of music styles, from subtle acoustic tracks to more energetic playlists.
Installation is also made easier by its shallow mounting depth of 50mm at the top and 45.8mm at the bottom, along with standard cut-out dimensions for a practical fit in many vehicle door panels. A removable protective cover adds another layer of convenience by helping shield the speaker from debris and damage.
For drivers looking for a reliable coaxial car speaker that combines balanced sound, durable construction, and easy installation, the GEN-X4.6 is a smart and capable choice.
