What is the advatages of this product?
Built-in tension spring connects two clamping jaws to support flexible opening adjustment. The dual-jaw structure wraps round oil filter outer rims tightly, adapting multiple filter outer diameters without switching separate tools.
With its solid construction, secure grip, and convenient adjustment, it is an indispensable tool in automotive maintenance toolkit.
Adjustable: This automotive wrench features an adjustable design that allows the clamping diameter to be freely set using the adjustment screws on both sides. It covers a range from 60 mm to 80 mm/2-3/8 to 3-1/8 inches and is compatible with oil filters for the vast majority of sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and light trucks.
Strong Steel Material: This automotive oil filter wrench is made entirely of high-strength steel. It features a sturdy body and high-strength jaws, enabling it to withstand high torque without deforming. Its non-slip design ensures a strong grip when clamping the filter, allowing even tightly secured, old filters to be removed with ease.
Spring Design: This automotive wrench features a powerful return spring built into its base that automatically retracts inward. Place the wrench on top of the filter so that it fits snugly against the outer wall; apply slight downward pressure to secure a firm grip. The 1/2-inch square drive socket at the top allows for direct connection to a ratchet wrench or torque wrench, making it easy to loosen or tighten the filter with just one hand.
Package Content: You will receive 1 automotive oil filter wrench, with overall dimensions of 2.56 × 3.15 × 2.17 inches. Its compact and sleek design allows it to easily reach into small spaces in the engine compartment. It supports both forward and reverse rotation, enabling both removal and installation of the oil filter.
Usage Method: Slide the wrench onto the filter and adjust the mechanism so that the two jaws grip the middle-lower section of the filter, near the base. Attach a ratchet wrench or socket wrench to the square drive at the end of the wrench. Grip the wrench firmly and apply force in a counterclockwise direction. Since the filter may be very tight, apply steady pressure at first. Once you feel the filter loosening, you can stop using the wrench. Then, slowly remove the old filter by hand.
