Soundstream Arachnid 6.5 Inch 3 Way Speakers for Big Full Range Sound

Description

Arachnid Full Range 6.5-inch 3-way speakers are built to deliver a balanced listening experience by covering low, mid, and high frequencies in a single speaker design. Each pair combines a polypropylene woofer, a 2-inch balanced-dome Mylar midrange, and a 1-inch balanced-dome Mylar tweeter, creating a compact full-range solution for compatible audio systems. This 3-way configuration is designed to help preserve clarity across vocals, instruments, and bass response, making it a practical choice for drivers who want detailed sound without moving to a more complex setup.

The injection-molded polypropylene cone provides a lightweight yet durable surface for moving air efficiently, while the 1-inch voice coil mounted on an aluminum former supports stable operation during regular use. An improved-efficiency diaphragm and magnet structure is included to help make better use of available power, which can be especially useful in systems where consistent performance matters. These design elements work together to support clear reproduction across the speaker’s full operating range.

Power handling is rated at 100 watts RMS per pair, with up to 300 watts peak power handling. RMS offers a more reliable guide to sustained performance, while peak power reflects short-term handling under suitable conditions. With a 4-ohm impedance, these 6.5-inch car speakers should be matched with an amplifier or receiver designed to support a 4-ohm load. Choosing compatible equipment helps maintain sound quality and avoids unnecessary strain on the audio system.

Installation is supported by quick-disconnect terminals, which can simplify wiring when paired with the correct connectors. As with any speaker upgrade, it is important to verify polarity during installation to ensure proper stereo imaging and balanced output. Before purchasing, check your vehicle or enclosure for mounting space, cutout dimensions, and depth clearance, since compatibility can vary by model. In some cases, adapters or additional hardware may be required for a secure fit.

Arachnid full-range speakers are a straightforward option for replacing worn factory units or upgrading a basic audio setup with a true 3-way speaker design. For those comparing 6.5-inch speakers, reviewing the mounting requirements, impedance, and amplifier power before installation can help determine whether this pair is the right match for the system.
